Payment & Fees
How much do services cost?
Services at Dig Deep have the same cost across all the offerings we provide, so you never have to wonder about costs. Hourly (60-minute) services are billed at $230, and are typically eligible to be covered in part or in whole through most employer benefits. We are happy to provide receipts to you which may be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement if covered.
How can I make payments?
You can make payments via credit card or eTransfer. Dig Deep uses the Jane application for scheduling and billing. You will be asked to provide a valid credit card to keep on file through Jane Payments when you first begin services with Dig Deep. Please note that Jane Payments may charge a credit card processing fee upon payment.
Unless you arrange for an alternative (i.e., eTransfer), the fees for your clinical services will be charged directly to your card on file following your appointment, allowing us to use all of your appointment time for psychological care, rather than sorting out payment.
Do you bill insurance directly?
We do not bill insurance providers directly at this time. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider to see what is covered in your policy and what documents they need to approve reimbursement. During our initial consultation, we may briefly review your insurance coverage to ensure that the treatment plan best suits your coverage.
Do you charge late cancellation or no-show fees?
Your therapist has a limited caseload to ensure that there is time and energy to plan for your sessions and to ensure they can be fully focused on your needs. If you must cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled time so that your therapist knows to cancel your appointment fee and may offer the appointment time to another client.
A fee of 50% of the service cost will be charged to your card on file for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, and a fee of the full service cost will be charged for no-shows. The first late cancellation fee will be waived. Otherwise, waivers of late cancellation and no-show fees may be granted under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the service provider but are not guaranteed.
