Child Therapy for ADHD
Although medication can be an effective tool for managing symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, it can be most effective when paired with behavioral strategies.
Symptoms of ADHD are diverse and variable, and can look very different across individuals, and may vary by age and gender. Whether it’s regularly forgetting needed items for school or sports, poor time management, difficulty following directions to complete tasks/ chores, or procrastination (just to name a few!), symptoms can be difficult to manage and can affect the whole family and others around them.
Whether your child or teen has been recently diagnosed with ADHD, or you have been noticing these types of symptoms, we can help you and your child develop strategies to manage these symptoms at home and at school.
